Salad bar wrap up: Discussion about changes for next year. Price change to $15.00 discussed. Further discussion next year. Discussed cutting the cash prizes given by the Altar Society with the thought that we have plenty of prizes. We had 51 raffle prizes and 22 door prizes. Will think about new method for procuring door prizes. Cut chicken salad in half due to costs and leftovers. The proceeds from the raffle go directly to the church. An announcement with final numbers will be placed in the bulletin.Â
Cleaning of the church kneelers will be MARCH 16 @ 10:00. This is an update to the previous date that was entered into the minutes. Lori will make a rag bucket. Please bring a bucket and rags. One clean bucket and one dirty bucket.Â
The Lenten Supper served approximately 25 people.
Trimming the beef, left from the roast beef dinner, to make soup will be March 30 @ 9:30 am. Baby shower will be at our May meeting.Â
Kitchen concerns:
A. Let's try to do laundry (dish towels, dish cloths, and aprons): either take it home after an event or throw it in the washer and dryer at church if there is enough time.
B. Some of the towels are especially soiled because they have been used to wipe up the floor, etc. Could we have a separate spot for rags for that purpose?
Arlene will order 100 loaves of Vienna bread from Johnson's Bakery for Holy Thursday.
April Hostesses are Kathy Johnson and Mary Jo Uhlenkott. April raffle will be donated by Dorothy Johnson
The meeting ended with a prayer and a light lunch.Â
