There will be no Thanksgiving mass this year due to Father Jim’s absence. Thanksgiving bread will be distributed on Sunday, November 22 after masses.
Mary Jo brought up an idea about an alternate Christmas party for the altar society this year. Possibly a pot luck after the mitten tree mass.
A discussion was brought up about giving the church money to be used for the large plumbing bill instead of purchasing tables. Last spring a discussion was had to purchase tables for the church hall. A motion was never made to purchase the tables. Mary Jo was going to research it and bring it back to us. She found there were many barriers preventing her from moving forward with the purchase of the tables. A motion was made by Donna Stubbe to give the church $500.00 now and further discuss at our next meeting, after This ‘n That, giving more. The motion was second by Terri Collins.
The meeting was closed with a prayer followed by a wonderful lunch.
