2026/2027 CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL will take place in our parish on September 19-20.  Your participation is critical.  This appeal serves as a way for us to collaborate in love and support for the Church by sharing the gifts that God has bestowed upon us.  We invite all Catholics from the 16 counties of the diocese to support this vital initiative.  Your financial support is essential for continuing God’s mission in our area.

MISSION APPEAL We welcome Fr. Mark Marangone of the St. Francis Missionaries, to our parish the weekend of August 22-23.  Fr. Mark, born in Italy, will be preaching the Mission Appeal as part of the Annual Cooperation Plan.  There are currently 800 priests and brothers of the Xaverian Missionaries serving in 20 countries.  Being exclusively a foreign mission society, the Xaverian Fathers and Brothers depend greatly on proceeds from this visit.  Fr. Mark is currently rector of the Franklin Center in Franklin, Wisconsin.  Thank you for your support

CHRISTMAS GIFTS FOR NURSING HOME RESIDENTS Once again the parishioners of St. Francis plan to provide Christmas Gifts for residents of our community nursing homes.  This year, if you would like to donate, your can bring your gifts directly to the nursing home of your choice.  Items of particular interest are wheelchair bags, walker bags, small bags with long handles, lap robes, stuffed animals, hats/mittens or anything items you might think of that residents would appreciate.  If you have questions, call Arlene at 218-341-1665 or stop to visit the crafters any Wednesday from 9 AM – 3 PM.
