st. francis altar society minutes 10/02/25

The meeting was called to order by President Arlene Osterlund.

The meeting opened with a prayer.

Secretary minutes were read by Kathy Johnson. They were accepted by Janet Walroos with a second from Janet LeBard.

Treasurer’s report was given by Judy Kuehn.

Sunshine report was given by Lorie Frink.

Sue Koehler donated the raffle prize that was won by Paulette White.

Janet Walroos, Janet LeBard and Marilee Culliton provided the lovely lunch.

The Altar Society now has a logo thanks to Jenna Wojciechowski. See above.

Several topics where discussed:

Lightweight racks for dishwasher, World Peace Day National Rosary on October 22 at 9:00am, group photo at November meeting, Christmas party future changes, membership drive from September (low turnout) and expanding membership to include the men of the parish.

Mary Jo Uhlenkott gathered a group to clean out old salt and pepper shakers/packets in the kitchen.

Rose Ranthum and Terri Collins will collect and distribute items donated to the mitten tree at November meeting.

December meeting/Christmas party including BINGO will be held December 2. Two $2 gifts and one $5 gift to be donated by members for prizes.

Reminder given about first Friday Rosary in garden room.
