ST. FRANCIS ALTAR SOCIETY
In order to make the recent “This N’ That” Sale such a huge success, we had volunteers putting posters and large signs up throughout the city, generous people donating, ladies setting up, handling the check out, bagging, pleasing customers, boxing items that did not sell and offering their trucks (Mark & Ken) to haul items away. We made $3,571.23 which will be used toward future expenses of the parish. PLEASE consider joining the Altar Society and help us with future events.
HERE IS THE PERFECT OPPORTTUNITY TO DO JUST THAT! The Altar Society will meet on Thursday, October 7th at 1:00 PM in the Garden Room. All ladies of the parish are welcome! Hostesses for the afternoon will be Gail Erdman and Paulette White. We look forward to welcoming you to the Altar Society!
Catholic Services Appeal
Catholic Services Appeal took place in our parish the weekend of September 18-19. We must remember that we are one with other churches om northern Wisconsin and our diocese itself. The Appeal is an opportunity for us, as a faith family, to join together to do the work of the Lord. All families are encouraged to support the CSA by giving to the Appeal. Our financial support is needed to continue God’s work in our area. Every dollar contributed to the appeal assists our parish in offsetting our yearly diocesan assessment responsibility to our Diocesan Church. Every family will receive information on the CSA in the mail. This year, our goal is $53,356.00. God will indeed bless and reward your generosity.
