OUR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM has begun and we are excited for the upcoming year. Our belief statement, Learning Our Faith Together, brings me to this request. We are all members of our St. Francis Faith Community and many parishioners have asked how they can support our youth. This year we are looking for sponsors for each child in the K-5 program to serve as “Prayer Partners.” Thank you for your support of your youth. If you have any questions, please contact Donna at 920-242-2353.

LEARN THE ART OF MAKING LEFSE! This year for Thanksgiving you will have the opportunity to serve lefse at your holiday meal. On Saturday. November 18th, we will be making lefse. Sign up for a shift! The sign-up sheet is in the gathering space of our church. Hope to see you there!

ST. FRANCIS ALTAR SOCIETY will meet in the Garden Room on Thursday, November 2nd at 1:00 PM in the Garden Room. Hostesses for the afternoon will be Gail Erdman and Virginia Michela. Items for the Annual Mitten Tree will be accepted. (mittens, gloves, scarves, hats – all winter wear). These items will be donated to local facilities.

MINISTRY SCHEDULING FOR MONTHS OF DECEMBER, JANUARY & FEBRUARY has begun. This will include the holiday liturgies. We are ALWAYS in need of cross bearers, readers, servers, communion ministers and ushers. Please consider serving your parish family in one or more of these areas. Training is offered. Please call Mary Margaret at the parish office (715-398-7174) with weekend(s) you are unable to serve. Also, please let her know you are willing to serve in some capacity at our weekend Masses. Thank you!

CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL The 2023-2024 CSA is underway in our parish. The appeal is an opportunity for us, as a faith family, to join to do the work of the Lord. All families are encouraged to support the appeal. The Church serves each of us in some way and our financial support is needed to continue God’s work in our area. This year, our goal is $63,338. Thank you to those who have filled out a CSA appeal envelope. For those who have not, please do so before you leave church today. There are many challenges facing us today, the shortage of priests is one such challenge, the responsibility of our parish is to help provide diocesan services and ministries such as support for vocations and the education of seminarians is an answer to that challenge.

COLLECTIONS

OCTOBER 1: $6,155.00

OCTOBER 8: $7,113.00

THANK YOU!
