ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE

“STAIRS to the STARS” fundraising is underway! We need to raise more than $60,000 to save the deteriorating front granite steps of the church (24th Avenue East side). Parishioners have received a letter from the pastor – additional letters and donation envelopes can be found on the table in the gathering space of the church. Please place your gifts in the regular collection or mail them to the parish office. They may also be dropped into the mail slot at the parish office. We appreciate your generosity to the “Stairs to the Stars” campaign!


ST. FRANCIS XAVIER ANNUAL COOKIE STROLL & CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS SALE On Saturday, December 10th, the Altar Society will host a cookie stroll and Christmas Decorations will be available for a free will offering. To make this another successful event, we need loads of festive, homemade Christmas Cookies and Christmas decorations you no longer use. Please consider baking a double/triple batch of your favorite holiday treats. SIGN UP AT THE GATHERING SPACE IN THE BACK OF CHURCH. We thank you so much for your support!


BOOK OF THE DEAD During the month of November we remember in a special way our loved ones who have gone before us and the deceased members of our parish family. Please stop in the gathering space of our Church and see the St. Francis Book of the dead. The book lists all who have died since All Saints’ Day, 2021.

*Mass is offered every Wednesday at 11:15 AM at St. Mary’s Hospital Chapel. Please join Fr. Jim or Fr. Joji as they celebrate Mass.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS The K-5 Religious Education Program is now underway and it never too late to join us. We meet on Sundays at 9:15 AM. Please contact Donna Stubbe at 920-242-2353 if you have questions. We would love to have your child join our program.


CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL Our annual Catholic Services Appeal has officially begun throughout the diocese. Our parish is off to a good start. A total of $27,580 has ben pledged from our parishioners and 95 families have participated thus far. Our parish “fair share” responsibility for the coming year is $60,490. Your gift to the appeal benefits not only our parish but also the local Church as a whole. So please, take a moment to reflect on donating to this campaign. May God bless you for your generosity and commitment.


MINISTRY SCHEDULE DECEMBER, JANUARY & FEBRUARY We are in the process of preparing the schedule for the next three months. This will include our Christmas Masses – Christmas Eve – 4:00/5:30 PM and Christmas Day, 9:00 and 10:30 AM. We are ALWAYS in need of CANDLE BEARERS, READERS, SERVERS, COMMUNION MINISTERS & USHERS. Training is offered. Please consider serving your parish family in one or more of these ministries. Please call the parish office to volunteer to serve and to notify us of the weekend(s) you are unable to serve in your particular ministry. Thank you!


ATTENTION READERS: The new Lector Workbooks for Year A are in the sacristy. Please cross your name off the list when you pick up your book. Thank you.


SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL We wish to thank our parishes for supporting us in so many ways and for giving us the opportunity to invited people to serve with us. Do you have time to sort and organize donations during the day or evening? Would you have an interest in delivering items to people in need?
