ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE
THE ST. FRANCIS ANNUAL ROAST BEEF DINNER is set for Palm Sunday, April 2nd from 11 AM – 4 PM in our parish hall. We relay on volunteers to make this event a success and you are invited to sign up for one of our many volunteer shifts available. Whether you choose to bake desserts, help set up, or work the event, know that you are extremely appreciated. Sign-up sheets are in the back of church. Middle and high school students are encouraged to participate (this counts as service hours!). Younger children are welcome to help but should be accompanied by a parent (please sign up together). Questions can be directed to Donna Stubbe at 920-242-2353.
ST. PATRICK’S DAY Bishop Powers has granted a dispensation to the faithful of the Diocese of Superior to allow the eating of meat on St. Patrick’s Day. Bishop has asked the faithful to do other acts of kindness on that day. Enjoy your Corned Beef!

ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE
LENTEN RETREAT DAY this Sunday, March 19th. Please note the sign-up sheets in the gathering space for Adoration Times beginning at 11:15 AM and concluding at 3:00 PM with Benediction. A soup sandwich meal will be served following. Please consider spending some time with the Blessed Sacrament in prayer.
THE ST. FRANCIS ANNUAL ROAST BEEF DINNER is planned for Palm Sunday, April 2nd from 11 AM – 4 PM. Dine-in, take-outs and home deliveries are available. Tickets are $10/adult; $5 ages 6-12; free for children 5 years and younger.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are still in need of volunteers to bake desserts and to help at the dinner. We especially need help in the dining hall and in the kitchen as several volunteer areas remain unfilled. Sign-up sheets will remain in the back of church until March 26th.
AT THE DINNER: Don’t forget to bring your non-perishable food items to the dinner and enter your name to win a $25 Super One Gift Card (one entry per family). A 50-50 Raffle will be held throughout the day. We will also be selling tickets on an “Etched Mirror of St. Francis Church.”
HOME DELIVERIES: If you would like a meal delivered to your home, please contact the parish office by Wednesday, March 29th (715-398-7174). Deliveries will be made between 11 AM and Noon.
DESSERT DROP-OFF: Desserts can be brought to the parish hall on Saturday ,April 1st from 8 AM to 4 PM or on Sunday, April 2nd before 10:30 AM.
ANNUAL PRIEST ASSEMBLY We are pleased to welcome Bishop Powers and the priests of our diocese to the Annual Priest Assembly on March 26-28 here in our church and parish hall. The assembly begins at 6 PM on Sunday evening, March 26th and concludes on Tuesday, March 28th at 11 AM. Bishop Powers will offer Mass on Monday, March 27th at 8 AM. Parishioners are welcome to attend this Mass. Special thanks to Altar Society and all those who prepared and served throughout the three days.
CHRISM MASS is at noon on Tuesday, March 28th at Cathedral of Christ the King, with the luncheon immediately following. If you would like to attend the buffet luncheon, please call the parish office at 715-398-7174 NO LATER THAN MARCH 20TH. Our parish will pay for the luncheon tickets. There will not be tickets available at the door.
EASTER HAM BINGO – MARCH 26TH – 1 PM at St. Mary Star of the Sea – 325 E. 3rd Street. Sloppy Joe and Hot Dog Lunch served at 11:30 AM. Boards are $2 each or 3 for $5. The afternoon will include a silent auction, Easter Basket Raffle for children, $1 raffle – 1st Prize $500, 2nd Prize $300 and 3rd Prize $200. Plenty of parking and handicapped accessible.
