BISHOP POWERS HAS REQUESTED THAT EVERY PARISH IN THE DIOCESE HAVE A EUCHARISTIC PROCESSION ON THE FEAST OF CORPUS CHRISTI, JUNE 19TH. FOLLOWING OUR 10:30 MASS ON THAT DAY, A PROCESSION AROUND THE CHURCH BLOCK WILL TAKE PLACE. BENEDICTION WILL CONCLUDE THE EVENT.

ST. FRANCIS FOOD SHELF We are always very grateful and appreciative of the donations of non-perishable food items that we receive. However, as the committee members sort the items, there are often products that are outdated and must be discarded. So, we are hoping your generosity will continue with cash donations or gift cards and the committee members will shop for what is needed. We ask for your understanding and continued support for the needy of our faith community.
WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION Bishop Powers is inviting all married couples celebrating a milestone anniversary in this year of 2022, to sign up for the Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Celebration. It is scheduled for Saturday, June 16, 2022, at Cathedral of Christ the King beginning with Mass at 11 AM (presentation of certificate included at Mass) followed by a luncheon in Kress Hall. If your anniversary ends in a 0 or a 5 (exceptions will be considered), sign up for this celebration by contacting your parish office with the following information: names, address, phone number, email address, marriage date and numer of years married. Also include your current parish and city. The deadline to sign up with the parish office is June 17. Those signing up will receive an invitation with guest information and RSVP card.
