WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION Bishop Powers is inviting all married couples celebrating a milestone anniversary in this year of 2022, to sign up for the Diocesan Wedding Anniversary Celebration. It is scheduled for Saturday, June 16, 2022, at Cathedral of Christ the King beginning with Mass at 11 AM (presentation of certificate included at Mass) followed by a luncheon in Kress Hall. If your anniversary ends in a 0 or a 5 (exceptions will be considered), sign up for this celebration by contacting your parish office with the following information: names, address, phone number, email address, marriage date and numer of years married. Also include your current parish and city. The deadline to sign up with the parish office is June 17. Those signing up will receive an invitation with guest information and RSVP card. There is no cost for the anniversary couple to attend. Contact Debra Lieberg, Chancellor at 717-394-0205 if you have any questions.
SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL with shelters having waiting lists, motels full on weekends and affordable apartments in very short supply, there are households who need to resort to living in their vehicles or tents. We are accepting donations of tents, sleeping bags and camping equipment. Our society makes efforts to assist these households in securing affordable shelter and/or permanent housing. If you have camping equipment, please leave us a message at 715-398-4039.
