+Masses are offered every Wednesday at 11:15 at St. Mary’s Hospital Chapel. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mass with Fr. Jim or Fr. Joji.


ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE


“THIS N’ THAT” SALE sponsored by the Altar Society is being planned for September 9th & 10th. The group needs the items you would like to donate. As the dates of the sale draws nearer, watch your bulletin for the dates/times, etc. you can bring your things. Not acceptable are clothing, towels, bedding or furniture. If you have questions or would like more information, please call Paulette at 715-399-8564.


MINISTRY SCHEDULING for the months of August and September is being processed. We need volunteers for all of the following: CROSS, CANDLE BEARERS, READERS, SERVERS, COMMUNION MINISTERS & USHERS. Training is offered. PLEASE consider serving your parish community in one or more of these ministries. Call Mary Margaret at the parish office to offer your help. Also, please call the parish office if there are any weekend(s) you are unable to serve during the months of August & September. Thank you!

SYNOD UPDATE After successful parish and diocesan meetings on the “Synod on Synodality” a report from the listening sessions was submitted to the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops. Copies of our Diocesan Spring Report can be found on the table in the gathering space of the church. Your opinions are important!


CATHEDRAL SCHOOL has the following positions available for the upcoming 2022/2023 school year: EARLY CHILDHOOD, MIDDLE SCHOOL SOCIAL STUDIES, K-8 ART, K-8 MUSIC AND 5-8 BAND. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, enthusiastic, faith-filled teacher. Interested candidates should be knowledgeable in instructional practices and able to differentiate instruction to meet a variety of learning styles. To apply please visit https://wecan.waspa.org/. HOLY ROWERS The Holy Rowers Dragon Boat Team are back and excited to row again after 3 years of not rowing! More details as the time gets closer to August 27th. Please mark your calendars for our Annual BBQ and Silent Auction to be held on Saturday, July 23rd following the 6:00 Mass. We need your support to help get our boat fee paid. SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL Our society is an international organization located in 150 countries throughout the world. We have four conferences (groups) of the society in our diocese, which have formed a Council-Superior, Rice Lake, Phillips and Merrill. Eleven representatives from these four conferences attended a Regional Meeting in Waukesha, WI from June 23-25. If you have ever considered growing in spirituality and friendship and serving those in need in our community, we invited you to learn more about becoming a member. VATICAN UNVEILED: AN EXPLORATION of LEGACIES is an exhibit showcasing the largest collection of Papal Artifacts outside of Rome. The exhibit will be open August 19-21, 2022 at the DEEC – Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center. It will feature over 150 items including the cross from Mother Teresa’s habit, relics of the True Cross owned by Pope Clement XI, many items from Pope John Paul II, a relic from the original chair of St. Peter himself and Swiss Guard Uniforms. Proceeds will go to Stella Maris Academy and Star of the North Maternity Home.
