ITEMS OF IMPORTANCE

“STAIRS to the STARS” We surpassed our goal!! We needed to raise more than $60,000 to save the church’s deteriorating front granite steps (24th Avenue East side) and due to your generosity, we have thus far collected $67,090!!! The project was completed this November and looks wonderful! Thanks to all who supported the “Stairs to the Stars” Campaign.


RCIA – AT ST. FRANCIS Are you an adult who has never been baptized? Are you a non-Catholic who is interested in joining the Catholic Church Community? Are you an adult seeking the sacrament of Confirmation? Please consider joining RCIA at St. Francis. Fr. Jim will offer sessions on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM beginning Thursday, February 23rd and continuing through Thursday, March 30th.CALL THE PARISH OFFIE AT 715-398-7174 to register. New members will be welcomed into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 8th.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS Grades K-5 continue to meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM. Should you have any questions or concerns please contact our Coordinator of Religious Education, Donna Stubbe at 920-242-2353.


ST. FRANCIS FOOD SHELF During the past holiday season we distributed many, many food baskets from our food shelf. Thus, our shelves are needing re-stocking. Cash donations, or Super One Gift Cards are very much appreciated! This allows our committee to shop for what is needed the most. As always, thank you for your generosity to those in need.


SOCIETY OF ST VINCENT dePAUL Do you enjoy jazz music and supporting a great cause? BIG TIME JAZZ with RANDY LEE CONCERT on Saturday, February 4th in Kress Hall at Cathedral of Christ the King. The evening begins with light hors d’oeuvres at 5 PM and the concert at 6 PM. Tickets sold at the door for $8. All proceeds will benefit the Society of St. Vincent DePaul.


A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU! to all who donated gifts to the residents of St. Francis Nursing Home. These gifts included 82 hats, 41 lap robes, 21 fiddle blankets, 7 walker bags, 17 pillow cases, 4 pairs of stockings, 10 ponchos, 23 winter scarves, 82 pocket Kleenex in covers, 19 packs of greeting cards, pens, playing cards and many, many word find books. God Bless you all for your kindness!
