LENTEN MUSIC During the Season of Lent we will be singing the Holy Holy (Sanctus) and the Lamb of God (Agnus Dei) in Latin. The music is found in the Gather Book: Sanctus, #308-B and the Agnus Dei, #313-B. Other sung parts of the Liturgy will be taken from the German Mass in the hymnal. Thank you.
ST. FRANCIS ALTAR SOCIETY will meet on Thursday, March 7th at 1 PM in the Garden Room. All ladies of the parish are welcome! Hostesses for the afternoon will be Betty Moe & Rose Ranthum.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH AND RELIGIOUS EDUCATION STUDENTS There are several opportunities for our youth to earn service hours. Some of these include: Fish Fry clean-up at St. Anthony Fridays during Lent; Roast Beed Dinner at St. Francis Parish, Sunday, March 24th, Chicken Dinner at Cathedral Sunday, April 28th; and in May the Knights of Columbus Pasty Sale May 3-4.

40th ANNUAL GARBAGE OMELET BREAKFAST Holy Assumption Parish Hall, Sunday, February 25th 8 AM -Noon. Cost is $12 for adults, Children 5 & under $6. Omelets are made with 3 eggs are filled with your choice of toppings.

CATHEDRAL SCHOOL NEWS Cathedral School Registration for the 2024/2025 school year will begin on February 1st, for Preschool through 8th grade. We offer 3K and 4K Preschool Programs which are half day or full day. For more information, please contact us at 715-392-2976 to schedule a tour.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 499 in Superior is offering post-secondary scholarship to all Superior High School and Northwestern High School seniors. There will be $500 scholarship given to one student in each high school. The application forms are available on the table in the gathering space of our church. The deadline to apply is April 28, 2024.
ST. ANTHONY PARISH, SUPERIOR holds Lenten Fish Fries on Fridays during Lent, 4-6:30 PM. Fried or baked fish, mashed or baked potato, coleslaw, vegetable, pickled beets, roll, dessert, and beverage. Take-outs are available. Cost is $13 for adults; $6 for students and preschoolers eat free. Parish is handicapped accessible. Local deliveries are available by calling 715-398-3261, Monday through Thursday.
SDCCW MARY JANE MORANCYK SCHOLARSHIPS The Superior Diocesan Council of Catholic Women will award four (4) $1,000 scholarships to women completing their second year of post high school education or continuing their education for career advancement or returning to the work field. Applications may be obtained through the following resource: SDCCW Scholarship Committee, Mary Werner, W5490 County Road O, Medford, WI. 54451. The committee will notify the winners by phone or e-mail. Applications will be accepted beginning February 1 and postmarked no later than April 15th.
