A note from our pastor… Thank you to all who made Holy Week here at St. Francis Parish so beautiful – those who decorated our church for each special liturgy, the musicians who assisted in our many lovely services. My prayers are with you for a Joyous Easter Season!
ROAST BEEF DINNER Special thanks to all our great cooks and volunteers who made our Palm Sunday Roast Beef Dinner a huge success. We served 940 dinners (includes takeouts and children’s dinners). Last year we served 896 dinners so, despite the weather we did exceedingly well. Kudos to Donna Stubbe for her leadership and hard work for the project. We’re already looking forward to next year!
ST. FRANCIS PASTORAL PARISH COUNCIL will meet on Tuesday, April 9th at 4:30 PM in the Garden Room. Parishioners are always welcome!

PARENT MEETING This week, on Thursday, April 11th at 6:30 PM, Fr. Jim will meet with the parents of our children who are making their First Communion on May 5th at our 10:30 Mass. The meeting will be held in the Garden Room. There will be a May Crowning on Sunday, May 12th at the 10:30 Mass. First Communicants are asked to be present and to process in. Following the Mass, a reception will be held in the Parish Hall for the First Communicants and their families. All are welcome!
ST. VINCENT dePAUL FREE COMMUNITY BREAKFAST – SUNDAY, APRIL 7TH – 8:30 AM – 1 PM Celebrating our 23rd Anniversary!! Join us in Kress Hall at Cathedral of Christ the King. Menu includes breakfast of egg. Sausage, fruit and pancakes. Live Music! Door Prizes and Silent Auction. Plan to come and celebrate with us!
CATHEDRAL SCHOOL NEWS Cathedral School Registration for the 2024/2025 school year began on February 1st, for Preschool through 8th grade. We offer 3K and 4K Preschool Programs which are half day or full day. For more information, please contact us at 715-392-2976 to schedule a tour.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 499 in Superior is offering post-secondary scholarship to all Superior High School and Northwestern High School seniors. There will be $500 scholarship given to one student in each high school. The application forms are available on the table in the gathering space of our church. The deadline to apply is April 28, 2024.
