OUR ROAST BEEF DINNER which was held on Palm Sunday, April 2nd, was another HUGE SUCCESS! We served 895 dinners (this includes 388 take-out dinners)! THANK YOU! to all who helped in any way – cooks, servers, dessert makers, ticket sellers/takers, take-outs, and to Donna & Ken Stubbe who organized the event!
NEXT SATURDAY, APRIL 22nd following 4:00 Mass we will be serving delicious homemade beef vegetable soup and shredded beef sandwiches. This meal is made from leftovers from our dinner. There is no charge. All are welcome!!
MASKS FOR MINISTERS Beginning April 15-16 masks are optional for all who help with Mass. (This includes candle bearers, readers, servers, communion ministers, and ushers). Please use your best judgment when assisting at Masses.
ST. FRANCIS ALTAR SOCIETY will meet for the final time this season on Thursday, May 4th beginning with Mass at noon. Following Mass, a lunch will be served. A brief meeting will then be held. Ladies are reminded to bring something for the baby shower and for altruistic project. ALL LADIES OF THE PARISH ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US! SPECIAL THANKS to the Altar Society for their recent donation of $5,000.00 to the parish. The offering will be used for utility bills. Blessings!

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION INFORMATION:
Dates to note: Classes on Sundays, April 16, 23 and April 30 (final class). Rehearsal for First Communion is on May 4, at 7 PM. The Sacrament of First Communion takes place on Sunday, May 7th at the 10:30 Mass. The Crowning of Mary and a reception for the communicants takes place on Sunday, May 14th.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place here at St. Francis on Friday, May 5th at 7 PM. Bishop Powers will preside. The rehearsal for Confirmation is planned for Wednesday, May 3rd at 7 PM in the parish hall.
MINISTRY SCHEDULING for JUNE, JULY & AUGUST has begun. Please call the parish office – 715-398-7174, if you know of any weekend(s) you are unavailable. We are always in need of CANDLE BEARERS, READERS, SERVERS, COMMUNION MINISTERS & USHERS. Training is offered. Please consider volunteering in these very important ministries.
