WELCOME KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 499 to our parish on Sunday, July 20th to commemorate its 125th Anniversary. Bishop James Powers will celebrate a 3:00 Mass followed by a social gathering in the parish hall. The first council in the state of Wisconsin was the Albert Meyer Council 499 founded on June 17, 1900. With members of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Superior, the first parish in Superior. Superior now has two other councils, council 7106 at Holy Assumption, and council 16691 at Cathedral of Christ the King and St. William’s Parish.
SAVE THE DATE – THE ANNUAL DIOCESAN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION for couples celebrating anniversaries ending in 0 or 5 at Cathedral of Christ the King on Saturday, July 26th at 11 AM. Kindly register by July 15th at https//catholicdo.org/wedding-anniversaries-jubilees. There is no cost for the anniversary couple to attend. Additional guests will be charged $20 each. AS FALL APPROACHES – A NEW MINISTRY SCHEDULE FOR SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER & NOVEMBER is currently being planned. PLEASE if you know of any weekend (s) you are unable to serve, please call or email Mary Margaret at Mary@stfrancisxavier.us. We are always in need of CROSS BEARERS, READERS, SERVERS, COMMUNION MINISTERS, AND USHERS. Training is offered. Please consider serving your parish family in one or more of these ministries. Thank you to all who attended our “Our Thank You” picnic reception for Fr. Tom! We received so many compliments about the food, the decorations, and the wonderful time had by all! Fr. Tom was here for four months while Fr. Jim recovered and we were so blessed to have him here. Special thanks to all who made this celebration possible!!

ST. FRANCIS FOOD SHELF is currently quite low on several items. Monetary donations, gift cards from Super One, Walmart, Aldi, Costco, or Sam’s Club are very appreciated. Please consider donating money, or to one or two of these businesses. (gift cards) We often receive 5-6 calls per week so our supplies are running quite low. We have recently had some very large families in need of help, so your help would be great! Thank you!
CATHEDRAL SCHOOL NEWS Registration for the 2025 - 2026 years is currently taking place for Pre-K through grade 8. The school also continues their tradition of a 3- and 4-year-old and enrollment is also taking place now. These classes are 5 days a week with half or full day options. For more information on any of these classes, please call the school at 715-392-2976. There are several employment opportunities available at the school. These include: Preschool, Physical Education, Extended Care, School Aides, and Hot Lunch Program. To learn more, or to apply contact the school office at 715-392-2976.
