MASS is celebrated every Wednesday at St. Mary’s Hospital Chapel at 11:15 AM.  All are welcome.      

  

2026 DIOCESAN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS AND LUNCHEON- SATURDAY, JULY 18TH, 11 AM All couples celebrating a milestone anniversary (ending in 0 or 5 this year are invited to participate in this celebration at Cathedral of Christ the King.  If you are unable to attend in person due to health or other restrictions, the event will be live streamed and you can participate virtually.  For those attending in person a luncheon will be served   following Mass.  To register, please call Mary Margaret at the parish office no later than JULY 1, 2026.)  Should you have questions regarding this year’s celebration please contact Loree or Julie Ann at 715-234-5044.


FATHER’S DAY BREAKFAST, SUNDAY, JUNE 21ST FOLLOWING BOTH MASSES All are welcome to join us for our annual Father’s Day Breakfast on Sunday, June 21st, following both Masses.  There is no charge.  Mark your calendars and plan to join us!  Special thanks to the ladies of the Altar Society for preparing and serving another delicious breakfast!


ST. FRANCIS CEMETERY NEWS Our new (second) columbarium is now in place.  Stop to take a look!  Each niche holds two containers of cremains.  The cost of each niche is $2,000.00 which includes the initial engraving.  For further information please call the parish office.  We welcome our new sexton, Brian Beyer.  Brian began his duties on June 1st.


PLEASE NOTE:  WE ARE IN NEED OF THE FOLLOWING VOLUNTEER POSITIONS IN OUR PARISH:  USHERS FOR THE 9 AM AND 10:30 AM MASSES.  Participants receive a 3-month schedule in the mail at their choice of Mass time.  Please call Mary Margaret at the parish office to serve as an usher.  We also need SERVERS (LADIES OR MEN) to serve at our funeral lunches.  Volunteers for this opportunity are asked to call Teri Collins at 715-817-5658.

ALTAR SOCIETY’S “THIS ‘THAT SALE” is being planned for SEPTEMBER 11-12.    Please begin saving your items for this event.  Please remember the following items ARE NOT ACCEPTED:  BEDDING, CLOTHING, FURNITURE, CHINA DISHES, CAR SEATS, AND STROLLERS. CATHEDRAL SCHOOL NEWS Registration for the 2026-27 school year is available for Preschool through 8th grade. Cathedral School continues its tradition of 3- and 4-year-old Preschool.  These classes are 5 days a week with half day or full day options.  Before and after school care is available for Preschool through 8th grade through our extended care program.  For more information, please contact the school office at 715-392-2976. 


ROSIE’S EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP is available for Cathedral Students.  This scholarship is awarded yearly with preference to St. Francis families who may be experiencing financial needs, exceptional healthcare costs or academic needs.  Please speak to Fr. Jim if you are interested in applying.


THE CATHOLIC CHURCH is working diligently to prevent sexual abuse by parish employees, volunteers, deacons, and priests.  If you have been sexually abused by someone associated with the church and would like to report or discuss the experience, we urge you to contact:  Bonnie Thom at 715-718-1110.  This number is provided confidentially and is dedicated solely to these calls.  Your call will be treated with respect, dignity and compassion.  Anyone who believes that they have been sexually abused is strongly encouraged to report the incident.
