ST. FRANCIS SOCIAL ACTION COMMITTEE continues to work in our parish food shelf. We are always in need of the following:

Also monetary donations are always welcome – these are used for the families we serve to purchase perishable items – milk, bread, etc.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 499 will meet on Tuesday, September 3rd at St. Anthony Parish in Allouez. The evening will begin with Recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 PM followed by the business meeting at 7 PM.
ANNUAL PASTY SALE is planned for September 13-14. The cost is $4 for a 12oz pasty filled with beef, potatoes, carrots, onions & rutabagas. They will be available for pick up at St. Anthony Parish on Friday or Saturday from noon to 4 PM. Contact Tom Grota at 715-392-2061 or any other knight to place your order.
SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL On this Labor Day Weekend let us remember and pray for those who are unemployed, for single parents working full time and raising a family and for those who desire to work but cannot due to disabilities. So often we assist those who, due to loss of a job, injury or illness, are unable to provide basic needs for themselves and their families. May God bless you for your continuing support of our society allowing us to serve our brothers and sisters in need. Join us at our next meeting on Tuesday, September 10th, 6 PM at the Catholic Charities building located at 1416 Cumming Avenue.
RESPECT LIFE SERIES You are invited to Kress Hall at the Cathedral of Christ the King beginning on Monday, September 16th through October as we gather together for a soup supper followed by a presentation from 6 to 7. There is no cost to participate. Plan to join us.
HUGE RUMMAGE SALE – Friday, Saturday, September 27-28 from 8 AM-3PM at Holy Assumption Parish located at 5601 Tower Avenue. A free will offering will be accepted. All profits will go to our sister parish in Tanzania, East Africa. Thank you for your support!
ST. WILLIAM’S PARISH ANNUAL HAM & MEATLOAF DINNER is being planned for Sunday, September 8th from 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM. The menu will include ham, meatloaf, potatoes/gravy, buttered carrots, coleslaw, pickles, rolls, coffee and dessert. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children under 12 years of age, pre-schoolers are free. Take-outs are available. There will be a bake sale, country garden market and silent auction. Drive one mile west of WI Highway 35 (Pattison Park) on County Road B. The church is wheelchair accessible.

2019-2020 CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL
“EXPRESSIONS OF DISCIPLESHIP” will be conducted in our parish the weekend of September 14-15. We must remember that we are one with the other churches in northern Wisconsin and with our diocese itself.
