As we celebrate Mass again in the parish, please be reminded that we practice social distancing in the church and that many pews are roped off so as to limit seating capacity. We now have seating for about 125, but the average attendance at a weekend Mass is about 50. Masks are worn in the building and hand sanitizer is amply available. You are encouraged to return to Mass as you are able. As Bishop Powers has reinstated the obligation for Mass attendance you are encouraged to come to a weekend liturgy. Should you be unable to come to a weekend liturgy, please consider attending a daily Mass – the schedule is in the bulletin. Attendance at daily Mass is 10-15 people.

MONTHLY UPDATE FROM THE PARISH COUNCIL (SURVEY UPDATE)
The parish is always looking for people who are willing to be committee members or miscellaneous group members. We know it is impossible to contact very person to ask for volunteers so if you have an interest in becoming more involved during Mass or any of the groups, please call the parish office to discuss your interest with Fr. Jim or Mary Margaret. Some of the groups in our parish include the Altar Society, Choir, Education, Knights of Columbus, Parish Council, Social Action and Stewardship. In the survey one parishioner wrote, “I love our parish and I am grateful to the core group of volunteers who make things happen.” Another parishioner wrote, “The church is blessed with the active and generous ladies of the Altar Society!”

Pope Francis’ Rosary Prayer in the midst of the coronavirus. He is asking people to recite the rosary and pray this prayer following the rosary.
You shine continuously on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who, at the foot of the cross
were united with Jesus’ suffering, and preserved in your faith.
You know our needs and we know that you will provide, so that, as at Cana in Galilee,
joy and celebration may return after this time of trial.
For he took upon himself our suffering, and burdened himself with our sorrows
to bring us, through the cross, to the joy of Resurrection.
We fly to your protection, O Holy Mother of God; deliver us always from every danger.
