ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Join us for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the first Tuesday of the month (beginning March 3). The evening will typically begin with Mass at 5 PM followed by adoration time and concluding with Benediction at 7 PM. ST. FRANCIS ALTAR SOCIETY will meet on Thursday, March 5that 1 PM in the Garden Room. Hostesses for the afternoon will be Clem Hinz & Irene Hudacek. All ladies welcome!
The society is planning a THIS N’ THAT SALE in May. Ladies are asking for donations of household/kitchen items, books, purses, plants, garden items, etc. The sale will not include clothing, bedding or towels. Thank you for your support!
A HEALTHY PARISH The Parish Engagement Surveys have been read, digested, and interpreted. Now, in an effort to inform parishioners of those results and possible changes we can make based on those results, reports will be made in the Sunday bulletin on a monthly basis. Be sure to follow future bulletins for further updates on various parish programs and updates. The first activity in response to the Parish Engagement Survey was our recent Mardi Gras Pizza Party which was held following 4:00 Mass on February 22nd.

First graders continue to collect pop tabs which will be used to help Shriners Hospital to purchase children’s wheelchairs. There is a container on the table in the gathering space for your use or they can be dropped off at the school in rooms 100 & 206.

CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICA are sponsoring a cleaning supplies collection for families establishing a new home. There is a collection box in the gathering space of churchy from March 7 – 22. Among items needed are laundry soap, dish soap, bleach, paper towels, sponges, brooms, dust pans, and household cleaners. Your support and donations are greatly appreciated!
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS COUNCIL 499 will meet on March 3rd beginning with the rosary at 6:30 PM followed by the meeting at 7 PM at St. Anthony Parish, 4315 E. 3rd Street.
EXPRESSIONS OF DISCIPLESHIP – 2019/20 CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL
If you have not yet responded to the 2019-20 CSA, please set aside a moment to prayerfully consider a gift amount that your means will permit. PROPERTY & LIABILITY INSURANCE The parish recently received the annual bill for the property and liability insurance. The billing total is nearly $16,000. Thanks to all who support our church so generously so that we can pay all of our bills on time!
