BISHOP VISITS Bishop James Powers will make a pastoral visit to our parish next Sunday, July 7th. Bishop Powers will celebrate the two Sunday Masses here. Fr. Jim requests that parishioners make a special effort to attend one of the Sunday liturgies and warmly welcome our Bishop. Thank you.
COMING SOON! ST. FRANCIS XAVIER ALL-SCHOOL REUNION is being planned for August 3, 2019 here in our parish church and parish hall. There is no fee, no registration or RSVP. Simply plan to attend. The schedule is as follows:

SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL Do you have a couple of hours on a Thursday afternoon to help us sort clothing donations? Our generous community has blessed us with clothing in all sizes – in order to distribute it we need to sort it. Please stop by on Thursday, July 11, 18 or 25 from 2:30-4:30 and our volunteers will gladly put you to work! Our free store is in the Catholic Charities Building located at 1416 Cumming Avenue. You are welcome to join us at out next meeting on Tuesday, July 9th at 6 PM at the above address.
CATHEDRAL SCHOOL NEWS We are currently looking for a few positions for the upcoming 2019-20 school year. These positions include a Middle School Science Teacher and Middle School Social Studies teacher. These are half-time positions but could be combined to a full-time position. We are also looking for a Hot Lunch Coordinator (29 hours weekly) for the upcoming 2019-20 school year. BEAUTIFULLY FLAWED Our parishioner Chloe Hofman (recently confirmed here) had surgery last January for a below the knee amputation. She now has the opportunity to attend “Beautifully Flawed” – a Christian retreat for amputee women. Lake Superior Chiropractic is hosting a fundraiser for Chloe. KC COUNCIL 499 will meet on Tuesday, July 2nd at St. Anthony Parish. We will pray the rosary at 6:30 PM and the business meeting will begin at 7 PM.
