EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT CATHEDRAL SCHOOL We are currently looking to fill positions for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. These include full-time Kindergarten Teacher, full-time 3K teacher, Middle School Music, Middle School Science, Middle School Social Studies and Middle School Language Arts. The middle school positions are part-time but could be combined to full-time positions. Send resumes and cover letter to Mrs. Samarziya at 1419 Baxter Avenue, Superior, WI. 54880 or. Applications will be accepted until June 3rd.

We are also looking for a Hot Lunch Coordinator (29 hours a week) for the upcoming school year. Send resumes and cover letters to Cathedral School, 1419 Baxter Avenue. Superior, WI. 54880. We will accept applications for this position until filled. Cathedral Pre-School Registration is now open. Cathedral offers a 3 and 4 year old program. Contact Amanda at 715-392-3900 or. CHASA participates in several programs which generate money for our school. We collect Box Tops for Education, Coke Rewards, aluminum cans, cancelled stamps and Loaves for Learning. Our first grade is collecting pop-tops to purchase children’s wheelchairs for Shriners Hospitals.

TOTUS TUUS IN SUPERIOR/ JUNE 9-14/CATHEDRAL OF CHRIST THE KING The curriculum and registration forms are available in the gathering space of the church. The focus of instruction will be the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary and the Sacraments. This year’s Totus Tuus will take place in Kress Hall. WEDDING ANNIVRSARY CELEBRATION – JULY 20, 2019

The Diocesan Wedding Celebration will take place at Cathedral of Christ the King beginning with an 11:00 Mass with Bishop Powers. Following Mass a catered luncheon will be served in Kress Hall. If your 2019 Wedding Anniversary ends in 0 or 5 (example: 20-25,55, etc) and you and your spouse wish to attend this celebration, please call the parish office (715-398-7174) to register and the parish secretary will notify the diocesan office. All registration are due June 10. If you have any questions please contact Deb Lieberg at 715-394-0205.

CALLING ALL YOUNG SINGERS Come sing with the National Catholic Youth Choir on Thursday, July 11, 2019 – 2 PM – 8 PM at Cathedral of Christ the King. The concert will be at 7 PM. Rehearse and perform with Conductor Andre’ Heywood. All participants will receive a free t-shirt and dinner. Register at www.CatholicYouthChoir.org.


COMING SOON! ST. FRANCIS XAVIER ALL-SCHOOL REUNION is being planned for August 3, 2019 here in our parish church and parish hall. There is no fee, no registration or RSVP. Simply plan to attend. The schedule is as follows:

3:00 - 4:00 PM - Favorite Hymns

4:00 PM - Mass

5:00 PM – “Hot Lunch”

9:00 PM – Celebration continues – place to be announced.

NEWS FROM HOLY ASSUMPTION If you have an e-reader or iPad you are not using we could deliver it to Kisa this summer, loaded with children’s books in English and Swahili. Please drop off at Holy Assumption Monday-Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm, before July 10th. Thank you!
