57TH ANNUAL SALAD BAR LUNCHEON – FEBRUARY 9 – NOON
The menu will feature a variety of homemade salads, hot German potato salad, bread, dessert and a beverage. Tickets are $9 for adults, $4 for children ages 6-12 and children under age 5 are free.
There will be door prizes as well as the annual raffle drawings.
NOTE: In the gathering space in the back of the church you will find a sign-up sheet. Please sign up to bring a salad, donate a gift card (or 2), or help the day of the luncheon. DARE 2 MOVE The third Family Night is planned for Wednesday, January 23rd beginning at 7:00 PM and concluding at 8:30 PM. This will be a joint middle and high school event. CONFIRMATION RETREAT for all students preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation (a requirement for Confirmation) will be held here in our parish on February 2, 2019 beginning at 8:30 AM with registration and concluding at 5:00 PM. The day will include confessions and Mass at 4:00 PM. Sister Lisa, from the College of St. Scholastica, and a group of her students will conduct the retreat. A light breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided. Cost is $10 per student to help defray the cost of the food. Please call Ernie at 715-394-6489 or at the parish at 715-398-7175 to register. Parents are asked to help in serving or clean-up.
CATHEDRAL SCHOOL NEWS There are currently openings for preschool part time aides and substitute teachers. Please remember to save all General Mills boxtops, Milk Moola, plastic covers from milk jugs of all sizes. orange juice, juice drinks, ice cream and tops of plastic milk bags. We also collect Coke Rewards, aluminum cans and Loaves for Learning. There is a container in the gathering space
of our church for your donations.
SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL We distributed more than $21,000 in the past three months. You help provide assistance in transportation, housing, utilities and food. Our operating expenses for that same three month period was just $465. Thank you and God Bless You!
DIVORCE CARE CLASS will begin on January 22, 2019, 6:30 PM in Cathedral’s Kress Hall, Room 6. The class is for people who are currently going through a divorce or those who have been through a divorce.
