AS WE ENTER THE COLD AND FLU SEASON our parish has made changes to the distribution of Holy Communion to help prevent the spread of illness. The distribution of Holy Communion will be limited to the host alone with only the priest having the chalice. This is a temporary liturgical modification that will be lifted once we are through the cold and flu season.
MINISTRY SCHEDULING MARCH, APRIL & MAY We will be completing the ministry schedule within the next two weeks for the months of March, April & May. (Holy Week ministers will be sent under separate cover.) We are always in need of CROSS, CANDLE, GIFT BEARERS, READERS, SERVERS, COMMUNION MINISTERS & USHERS. Training is offered, Please consider serving your parish family in one of more of these areas.

ST. FRANCIS PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL formed a Stewardship Committee. Members of the committee are Dan Blank, Shannon Ilenda, Arlene Osterlund, Steve Tarnowski and Michael Woods. We are currently looking for members who are willing to share their time to help plan events in our parish. A Stewardship Fair is being planned for Sunday, May 31st, following the 10:30 AM Mass. More information will follow in upcoming bulletins.
RCIA AT ST. FRANCIS Are you an adult who has never been baptized? Are you a non-Catholic who is interested in joining the Catholic Church Community? Are you an adult seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation? Please consider joining RCIA at St. Francis. Fr. Jim will conduct sessions on Thursday evenings (6:30 PM – 8:00 PM) in the Garden Room. These sessions will begin on February 27th and continue through April 2nd. Call the parish office at 715-398-7174. New members are welcomed into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday, April 11, 2020.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:
MARDI GRAS CARNIVAL All are invited to join in the fun on Tuesday, February 25th from 5-7 PM in the school gym. Admission and food sales begin at 4:30. Cost is $12 for unlimited wristband if purchased prior to February 21st or $15 at the door. The kitchen will be selling pizza, hot dogs, cookies, water and juice boxes all for a small fee. Come hungry and have fun!

ST. ANTHONY PARISH, SUPERIOR will again be serving the Friday Fish Dinners beginning on Friday, February 28th and continuing through Friday, April 10th from 4:30 PM-7 PM.
The menu includes choice of fried or baked fish, mashed or baked potato, coleslaw, vegetable, pickled beets, roll, dessert & beverage. Cost is $10 for adults, students (12 and under) $5 and preschoolers are free. The facility is handicapped accessible. Take-out orders are available.
SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT dePAUL We are in need of volunteers to assist in many ways – transcribing phone messages, sort donations, transport items, manage our website, plan the pancake breakfast, etc. Leave a message at 715-398-4039 and we will contact you. Everyone is welcome to join us at our next meeting on Tuesday, February 11th at 6 PM at the Catholic Charities Building, 1417 Cumming Avenue.
CATHOLIC DAUGHTERS will meet on Wednesday, February 19th at 11 AM at the Keyport Lounge at 11 AM. Lunch will be ordered from the menu. Tim Gallagher will be the guest speaker whose topic will be the American Red Cross and the tornado clean-up in Florida. All interested women are welcome to attend. EXPRESSIONS OF DISCIPLESHIP – 2019/20 CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL
If you have not yet responded to the 2019-20 CSA, please set aside a moment to prayerfully consider a gift amount that your means will permit. A total of $39,323 has been pledged from our parishioners. Our parish “fair share” responsibility for the coming year is $51,346. Thank you to all who have already pledged.
