This Wednesday, February 26, we begin the Season of Lent. Masses, along with the distribution of ashes, will take place at 9 AM & 6 PM.
Attached to your bulletin this week you will find a 2020 LENTEN CALENDAR. This includes Daily Scripture Meditations and the parish schedule for our parish’s services and activities.
Also, please note the TRADITIONAL LENTEN DISCIPLINES are also included with the calendar. There are additional calendars on the table in the gathering space of the church if you wish to take one to someone who is unable to join us at Mass.
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT Join us for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the first Tuesday of the month (beginning March 3). The evening will typically begin with Mass at 5 PM followed by adoration time and concluding with Benediction at 7 PM. Please consider signing up for a half-hour prayer slot – the sign-up sheet is on the table in the gathering space of the church. Should you have questions please call Katy at 262-347-8705.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 26 6:00 PM All students are expected to attend Mass.
AS WE ENTER THE COLD AND FLU SEASON our parish has made changes to the distribution of Holy Communion to help prevent the spread of illness. The distribution of Holy Communion will be limited to the host alone with only the priest having the chalice. This is a temporary liturgical modification that will be lifted once we are through the cold and flu season.
RCIA AT ST. FRANCIS Are you an adult who has never been baptized? Are you a non-Catholic
who is interested in joining the Catholic Church Community? Are you an adult seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation? Please consider joining RCIA at St. Francis. Fr. Jim will conduct sessions on Thursday evenings (6:30 PM – 8:00 PM) in the Garden Room. These sessions will begin on February 27th and continue through April 2nd. Call the parish office at 715-398-7174. New members are welcomed into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday, April 11, 2020.
SACRAMENT OF ANOINTING Next weekend, February 29 – March 1, following all Masses
Fr. Jim will offer the Sacrament of Anointing. Please gather at the front of the church.

MARDI GRAS CARNIVAL All are invited to join in the fun on Tuesday, February 25th from 5-7 PM in the school gym. Admission and food sales begin at 4:30. Cost is $12 for unlimited wristband if purchased prior to February 21st or $15 at the door. The kitchen will be selling pizza, hot dogs, cookies, and water and juice boxes all for a small fee. Come hungry and have fun!

First graders continue to collect pop tabs which will be used to help Shriners Hospital to purchase children’s wheelchairs. There is a container on the table in the gathering space for your use or they can be dropped off at the school in rooms 100 & 206.

ST. ANTHONY PARISH, SUPERIOR will again be serving the Friday Fish Dinners beginning on Friday, February 28th and continuing through Friday, April 10th from 4:30 PM-7 PM.
The menu includes choice of fried or baked fish, mashed or baked potato, coleslaw, vegetable, pickled beets, roll, dessert & beverage. Cost is $10 for adults, students (12 and under) $5 and preschoolers are free. The facility is handicapped accessible. Take-out orders are available.
EXPRESSIONS OF DISCIPLESHIP – 2019/20 CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL
If you have not yet responded to the 2019-20 CSA, please set aside a moment to prayerfully consider a gift amount that your means will permit.
