ANNUAL SOUP SUPPER will be served next Saturday, May 4th, following the 4:00 Mass.
Plan to join us for this delicious meal of soup, (made from our recent beef dinner leftovers) beverage and sweets! There is no charge. Mark your calendars and join us!
ST. FRANCIS PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL will meet on Tuesday, April 30th at 4:30 PM in the Garden Room. Parishioners are always welcome.
ALTAR SOCIETY “THIS N’ THAT” SALE Please bring items for the sale – no clothing, bedding,mattresses or box springs) to the church (E. 4th Street Parish Hall Entrance) on May 13th and 14th between 1 and 4 PM or on May 15th & 16th between 8:30 AM and noon. Our sale is planned for Friday and Saturday, May 17-18 from 8 AM TO 2 PM.
FINAL MEETING OF ST. FRANCIS ALTAR SOCIETY is planned for this Thursday, May 2nd. Mass will be offered at noon followed by a brief meeting and pot luck lunch. All who attend are asked to bring a dish to pass as well as a baby item which will be donated to those in need. All ladies of the parish are welcome!
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT CATHEDRAL SCHOOL We are currently looking to fill positions for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. These include full-time Kindergarten Teacher, full-time 3K teacher, Middle School Music, Middle School Science, Middle School Social Studies and Middle School Language Arts. The middle school positions are part-time but could be combined to full-time positions. We collect Box Tops for Education, Coke Rewards, aluminum cans, cancelled stamps and Loaves for Learning. Our first grade is collecting pop-tops to purchase children’s wheelchairs for Shriners Hospitals.
ALL SCHOOL REUNION FOR ALL WHO ATTENDED ST. FRANCIS SCHOOL is being planned for Saturday, August 3rd here in our parish with a full afternoon of activities planned. More information will be announced in future bulletins.
CATHEDRAL OF CHRIST THE KING’S CHICKEN DINNER will be served today, April 28th from 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM in Kress Hall. Take-outs and deliveries are available by calling 715-392-1661. Tickets are $10 for adults, children ages 6-12 are $5 and those children age 5 and under are free. Come join us!
ST. ANTHONY PARISH IN SUPERIOR SPRING TEA is planned for Saturday, May 18th at noon. Cost is $15 per person or a table for 8 for $100. This is a 5 course luncheon. Wear a “tea style” hat for a chance to win a prize. Tickets will be available at the door or you are invited to make your reservations at email@example.com.
